New Life For Girls Chicago-

New Life for Girls is a Christian discipleship program for women. Founded in 1972, New Life for Girls’ purpose is to bring deliverance and restoration to female addicts, juvenile delinquents, abused and troubled young women through the power and love of Jesus Christ. Christian Civic Outreach in Pekin -

Their objective is to provide whatever services are within its power to give. CCO is supported by monetary contributions from churches, individuals, community organizaions, and the United Way. Non-perishable food and clean, wearable adult, children, and infant clothing is donated by churches, businesses, clubs, schools, and individuals.

CCO's services are for the support of low income people of Tazewell and Mason counties. They assist between 350 and 500 families per month.

Peoria Rescue Mission-

Exists to reach homeless and needy men with the Gospel of Christ, while providing for their physical needs with food, clothing and shelter.

Other divisions of PRM: Victory Acres - a restoration program for men; Women’s Pregnancy Center - services upholding the sanctity of life; Esther House - restoration program for women; and Barnabas Center - Biblical counseling.

Spoon River Pregnancy Center-

At the Spoon River Pregnancy Resource Center, they are committed to showing individuals the hope that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. With unconditional love, practical assistance and ongoing friendship, they are here to serve the unborn and the mothers who carry them.

Their center is staffed by volunteers who have received training in crisis intervention and are dedicated to doing everything possible to assist clients with educational information and compassionate support. Their website is www.srpregnancycenter.com

 HIM-

Helper Internation Ministies is a Florida based Prison ministry. One of their missions is to give Bibles to prison inmates. In 2007, 1050 Bibles were given out. At the end of May, 2008, 1075 Bibles have already been given out!

VERNACULAR VIDEO MISSION INTERNATIONAL -

Sharing in the ministry of the Gospel by supporting and equipping ethnic Christians who proclaim the Good News through video in their common language.

 Blessing Day: an outreach opportunity geared toward blessing our community. It is like a huge garage sale, only everything is FREE!! It is usually held in the fall.

 Morton Pumpkin Festival: another opportunity for us to "give back." We serve the pumpkin pancake breakfast Saturday morning of the festival.

If you want to be involved with Community Harvest........

As a guest.... come to the saturday distribution between 10:00am-12:00 pm. We are open every week. There are no income requirements, except for goverment commodity food items. You will be welcomed and respected here. Meet with our intake volunteers, and enjoy coffee and a snack while you wait in the fellowship hall for your cart to be assembled, and be blessed.

As a volunteer... there are many types of jobs that need done, and many days and times throughtout the week when volunteers are needed. Contact the Trinity office or Stephanie Bertelson to find out how to put your God-given telants to work in a meaningful way!

As a donor... contact the the Trinity Church office any time during the week to make arrangements for your donation or just drop by. If the donation is a large quanity, we would appreciate advance notice to make sure we have space and have people on hand to unload and put items away. Tax receipts are available upon request for donations.

As a supporter... Pray. Just pray. There is nothing else that will have as much impact as prayer.
